English: Kidderminster station, with auto-train to Bewdley. View southward, towards Hartlebury and Worcester, also Bewdley. In 1963 - a few years before the BR service ceased on 5/1/70, to be taken over eventaully by the Severn Valley Railway, an auto train from Bewdley headed by auto-fitted 0-6-0PT No. 6424 (built 9/35) is at the Down platform. Note the unique 'half-timbered' architecture of the station. |
