GWR 813 re-entered service in September 2025 after major repairs which included casting of a new rear spring housing and fabrication of a replacement saddle tank. The locomotive was temporarily repainted in NCB livery as No 11 Backworth Unit prior to an appearance at that year's Autumn Steam Gala. Seen at Highley during test running, 10 September 2025.
