The locomotive revisited on hire for the 2018-19 winter season, arriving on 28 November 2018 with a return to the GCR scheduled after 9 January 2019<ref>SVR Web site</ref>.
Railway scenes in [[Goodnight Mister Tom]], a 1998 made-for-TV Movie, were mainly filmed at the SVR but two scenes depicting a London station were filmed at Loughborough on the Great Central Railway. For those scenes 6960 6990 was used as a stand-in for SVR-resident [[GWR Mogul 7325]], whose number plates it carried.
